Recruitment of Postal Assistants / Sorting Assistants in Punjab Postal Circle
Applications in the prescribed format are called for the following posts of Postal Assistants and Sorting Assistants :
1. Postal Assistant : 143 posts
2. Sorting Assistant in Rail Mail Service Jalandhar : 09 posts
3. Sorting Assistant in Rail Mail Service Ludhiana : 10 posts
Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400
Age : 18-25 years
Qualification : Pass in 10+2 or 12th with English as a compulsory subject and should have studied the Punjabi Language as a subject at the least upto Matriculation or equivalent.
Application forms are available in the Head Post Office and Sub Post Offices in all District Hqs/ Tehsil Hqrs and other important sub post offices under Punjab circle on payment of Rs.25/- by cash.
How to Apply : Application duly completed along with relevant certificates should be submitted to the concerned postal division by Registered Post or Speed Post only where candidates want to apply on or before 12/10/2009.
