Applications are invited upto 29/01/2010 for direct recruitment to the following vacancies included in Group-I Services (Service Code. 001):-
1. Deputy Collector (Tamil Nadu Civil Service) : 13 posts
2. Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category – I) (Tamil Nadu Police Service) : 08 posts
3. Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies (Tamil Nadu Co-operative Service) : 23 posts
4. Assistant Director of Rural Development Department (Tamil Nadu Panchayat Development Service) : 17 posts
Only one OMR application need to be used, even if the Candidate applies for more than one post.

Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5400/- for all posts.
Age : 21-30 years. Relaxation of 5 years for reserved category.
Application Fee : For Preliminary Examination: Rs. 75/- (ii) For Main Written Examination: Rs.125/- . No fee from PH candidates.
OMR Application : OMR application form along with an INFORMATION BROCHURE can be obtained from any one of the HEAD POST OFFICES in Tamil Nadu or from the Head Post Office, Puduchery or from the Post Office of Lalgudi or Virudhachalam or Perambalur on payment of Rs.30/- . OMR application forms can also be obtained in person from the sales counter of the office of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Omanthoorar Government Estate, Chennai- 600002, on cash payment of Rs.30/- .
Applying Online : Candidates can also avail of the facility of applying Online on the Commission’s Website.
Filled in applications must be sent to the Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Omanthoorar Government Estate, Anna Salai, Chennai – 600002 by Registered Post / Speed Post well in advance so as to reach the Commission’s Office before 5.45 p.m. on 29/01/2010.
